Mom,nurse,retired divorced. I was told to change my hair color in the 90's. I said " nah", and I never went back. Fast forward..long marriage ,saying "No"to a top San Francisco modeling firm.. What was I thinking !!! ugh! I was told I was to short for runway.. perfect for magazines,ads( mostly in the Asian countries).. eh. All along the path:)

I am long winded, when I have to explain or state anything in my life.Black mom of 6, grand mom of 7. Divorced after a 25 year old marriage. A pediatric/ teen nurse for 25 years. Oakland,California graduate at Laney College, in nursing. My life has been interesting. I was told you should of been a model.. More often of late... I am told " Deona you are so freaking funny". Hmmm.. don't see it. I am a straight shooter. I am 5'6 and I weigh 148. I tend to talk alot... and all over the place. All 6 of my babies ,are adults.. and on there own. Two daughters are models.. so they told me " try mom".. eh
