I started Hawaiian Tropic pageants at 11 utterly unprepared — my mother threw me on stage. I wasn’t concerned about losing, more so tripping in my one inch heels because I was such a tomboy/anti-heels! I ended up winning against 40 girls. Perplexed but proud, I advanced to state where I took 3rd place out of 120 girls. I auditioned for the Miss America pageant in Arizona and made it to finals out of 200+ women. I didn’t win but it was a major catalyst to keep going! I have done promotional modeling (not ambassadors) for a hostel, streetwear company, a mock marriage for a magazine, freelance photographer in Laguna Beach, CA, a transformational festival (focused on healing & music— not like EDC), freelance photographer who was looking for hikers, meditation and yoga column in Sedona, AZ, a cruelty-free & organic teeth whitening brand, and a traditional Indian festival called Diwali. My one boudoir shot was with Ryan Calderon on Instagram @ryancalderonphotography. Outside of modeling, I have been called to many fields. As follows: Freelance Writer, Healing Arts Practitioner & Herbalist, Domestic Violence Court Advocate, and a volunteer for endless organizations from cybersecurity, human rights, and sustainability.
