You would think that Army life would have sucked all of the girliness right out of me, but it was quite the opposite. After the military, I went back into musical theatre, taught runway and etiquette courses, and oh yes... dove headlong into pageantry! Now instead of buffing my boots, I'm buffing my nails. Reminding young girls that we don't wear our crowns and sashes with blue jeans. And never letting the whole world forget that rhinestones match everything!
